Dr Sandie Sowler - PhD MIEEM Sandie has been involved in bat research and conservation since 1969 and has 25 years experience as an ecology consultant in the UK in both conservation and the private sector. Her work has focussed largely on bat conservation, EcIAs and latterly developing and delivering training courses. She undertook seven years research in Megachiropteran ecology and physiology in South Africa and currently holds a UK (Natural England) Bat Survey Licence and Training Licence. Sandie has developed and delivered Bat Conservation Trust courses since 2003 and currently delivers a number of other bat –related courses. Foremost of these are courses in the use of the remote bat detection system 'Anabat ' and the software 'Analook'. Sandie has been delivering and developing Anabat course for six years She is the author of four natural history books, and scientific and popular articles. Additionally she has ten years experience as a secondary school teacher and university lecturer and tutor in both the UK and South Africa. |

Gerry Westmacott Gerry is a retired civil engineer having worked in a managerial capacity for 36 years with British Rail and its successors. He is a UK (Natural England) licensed bat worker and has worked as a volunteer bat warden for 20 years and 12 years as a bat consultant undertaking bat surveys for development impact assessments. In March 2010 he became the UK and Europe Anabat repair and maintenance engineer for Titley. He also supports his wife Sandie Sowler in Anabat training courses to provide information and help in respect of Anabat hardware and firmware |

After May 25, 2011, the full registration fee is applicable. However, a paid registration is transferable to a replacement from your company/organization.
